Fall Clothing

I know it is really still Summer but, I want to get these tips in before everybody goes shopping. (I hope I'm not too late!)
Fall Clothing Colors- (To the left) In Fall you shouldn't wear dark colors. Fall is a great time to let the more neutral colors kick in. But wear some bolder colors every once in a while like Red and Blue.

Clothing- Cardigans are wonderful in the Fall. It is a great way to dress in layers for school. Cardigans look great with denim leggings. Denim leggings are not as thick as jeans are so denim leggings are the right thickness for Fall weather.

Accessories- Rings are great accessories! A big Red or Yellow flower ring with a neutral cardigan will look great! Long Necklaces are also amazing with anything. They add just a little sparkle.

Shoes- Knee high boots are a great shoe for Fall. Gray and Black boots are best. Flats are also a good shoe warmer days. You can wear any color flats.

I hope this helps for school shopping!
Please comment a question about fashion & I will answer as soon as I can!

Top 10 hair products from http://www.elle.com/Beauty/Hair/Hair-Product-Hall-of-Fame

I found this website and they listed some great products. If you go to the website, they had some quotes from hair professionals.

This information is from Elle's Website -http://www.elle.com/Beauty/Hair/Hair-Product-Hall-of-Fame & it was written by Janna Johnson.

L’ORÉAL PARIS ELNETT SATIN STRONGHOLD HAIRSPRAY

This longtime European favorite is finally available (now fluorocarbon-free) in the U.S. Trigger-happy stylists love that they can keep spraying it on and brushing it out throughout a 12-hour shoot, without any buildup or stiffness.

RENÉ FURTERER NATURIA DRY SHAMPOO

Whether it’s used to degrease after a workout, to resuscitate limp hair after a long flight, or just as a quick lazy-girl’s way to skip the whole shower–blow-dryer thing, dry shampoo has become a must-have. René Furterer Naturia was one of the first on the market and remains one of the best.

JOHN FRIEDA FRIZZ-EASE ORIGINAL FORMULA HAIR SERUM

Look at vintage fashion shoots and you can easily tell which photos were taken BFE and AFE (Before Frizz-Ease and After Frizz-Ease). ELLE readers voted the silicone-based serum an all-time favorite because it "keeps curly hair tame" and gives "the right amount of shine."

MAGIC MOVE POMADE

Stylists love the soft matte hold of this Japanese styling paste, which adds texture to hair without adding grease.

HOT TOOLS CURLING IRON

The super-affordable Hot Tools curling irons heat up fast, so busy celebs and models aren’t kept waiting on set.

PAUL MITCHELL SUPER SKINNY SERUM

ELLE readers love how this "boosts shine" and "calms curls without weighing them down." And stylists are fans as well: When packing their kits for humid exotic locales, many won’t leave home without this defrizzing dynamo.

PARLUX SUPERTURBO 3200 COMPACT HAIR DRYER

The perfect blowout is "wild...... and glamorous and chic," says Paris stylist Alex Rebecchi. To achieve this, he and other experts choose Parlux’s hair dryer as their blower of choice.

KÉRASTASE SÉRUM NUTRI-SCULPT

It may be hard to imagine that the genetically blessed likes of model Daria Werbowy contend with the same beauty issues as the rest of us, but when it comes to hair, the stresses of incessant styling and blow-drying often leave them in dire straits. Werbowy reaches for the ultrarestorative Kérastase Sérum Nutri-Sculpt, she says, because "it controls my frizz."

KIEHL’S CREME WITH SILK GROOM

For a red-carpet debut, Kiehl’s classic styling cream is a consummate favorite and has been used on the strands of well-coifed celebrities like Jessica Biel.

Thanks for reading!

Make Up tips - Post-a-thon

I am going to a sleep away camp in a week so I am going to try and post as many as I can. Here is my first post for my Post-a- thon.

How to put on Make up
  • The first thing to start with is your cheeks. Put on foundation, then bronzer, and last but, not least, blush.
  • Then move onto your eyes. Put on eye shadow, eye liner, and then mascara.
  • And last, put on lipstick or lip gloss or both!
Here are some recommendations
  • Try not to put any kind of make up too heavy on your face unless you really want to be noticed. If you do put it on heavy, you may look sad or even scary. (gothic)
  • Avoid darker colors unless you are wearing something darker. If you combine a light outfit with dark make up you will look like you put make up on in the dark.

4th of July

I am going to list some tips about do's and dont's for fashion and typical tips on the 4th of July.

  • DON'T wear all red or all blue or all white! You can be a lot more creative than that! Wear all the colors!! :)
  • DO something with your hair. It is a great way to show color. You can get that same affect with painting your nails.
  • DONT sit out in the crowd! There should some local parade that will allow your float! Parades almost always need more sign holders so that would be a fun thing to do with a friend.
  • DO wear jean shorts. Jean shorts are perfect for the 4th of July. They are the perfect color and it's a great way to get that blue color in without being too blue.
  • Do wear tank tops. Tank tops are another perfect way to get that color in. I am sure you can find a store that will sell the perfect Red, White, and Blue tank top during the holiday.
Have a happy 4th of July!
